THE CONVENT OF SAN MIGUEL

Popularly known as "Las Miguelas" it dates back to 1110 and highlights a sleek exterior Romanesque tower and Gothic apse.

The convent is home to the religious order of the Carmelite sisters. It houses numerous important Baroque altarpieces as well as the choir and the organ which dates back to 1852. The nearby bridge of San Miguel over the Isuela river dates from 1912 and was one of the first bridges constructed in the country. [Recommended for your trip itinerary]
